I think if this is a ploy to get out of debates it may backfire on him. It’s not like we couldn’t have a remote debate where no one is in the same room. And it would give absolute control of the debate to the moderators as they could simply cut camera and microphones off so no one can interrupt the other.

If his unhinged “debate” that included telling Proud Boys to standby didn’t crater his bid, I doubt this will.
That said, I’m pretty sure a lot of the “COVID-19 isn’t real” folks are feeling pretty conflicted about this news. lol

The optimist in me hopes he does have it, so that there is no “fake news.” And while I hate his guts, I hope he recovers so it doesn’t add any unneeded drama to the election...
That being said, everyone I know thinks he’s faking to 1.) get out of the debates and 2.) come back afterwards and say “Covid is nothing, I beat Covid, worship me and my good health (or something like that, with many Trump hand gestures).
